Step into the creative minds of 10-year-olds with Worlds Around You: A Think! Contemporary Primary School Exhibition, presented by Singapore Art Museum (SAM). As part of the 12th edition of the Think! Contemporary programme, this exhibition showcases imaginative artworks by students from CHIJ Our Lady Queen of Peace, Geylang Methodist School (Primary), Haig Girls’ School, Mayflower Primary School, St. Anthony’s Primary School, and Xinghua Primary School.
These young artists have created artworks in response to pieces from SAM’s exhibitions, offering unique perspectives on how children from all walks of life interpret the world around them. Through themes ranging from the communal nooks of Singaporean culture to self-image and digitalisation, visitors are invited to step into the shoes of our young artists and hear their stories. The exhibition showcases an array of mediums like clay, plaster, fabric, prints and illustrations, providing a glimpse into the students’ imaginative exploration of contemporary art.
