At the heart of “Yellow-bellied” hangs “Carcinoma”, a collaborative sculpture by Connor Cheai, Ashley Leong, Kate Lim, Shu-Myin Lim, and Jadis Tan.

The exhibition unfolds around this oversized sculpture, whose soft yet imposing form is at once familiar and unsettling. Setting the tone for the show, it reimagines flesh not as part of the body, but as a material in its own right.
