What defines home? In Lydia Janssen’s upcoming solo exhibition at REDSEA Gallery, Janssen explores our changing definitions of HOME.

Is home a concept, a place, an object, a person? Is it a container of safety, solace and rejuvenation or has it become more of a cage, or even a prison? In investigating this theme, Janssen looks to The Wizard of Oz. In Dorothy’s attempt to get back home, she discovers a colourful land of obstacles, lessons and growth.
