This exhibition presents new works by the artist that encapsulates the idea of the studio and its witness to artistic labour. The physical infrastructure of the studio and the materials that are directly or indirectly a part of art-making bear witness to the artistic process. A mark on the studio floor, a splash on the wall or a stroke on the canvas each freezes in time a conscious or spontaneous artistic moment. Yeo combines a selection of these elements into a visual presentation which captures ephemeral instances in her practice. The exhibition includes other works from the artist’s experimentation with media and machines – painting on film stripes, art in collaboration with robots and visual compositions from the vibration of loud speakers.
