In Journeys, UOB award-winner Yoko Choi explores the therapeutic and healing potential of art-making. Turning to repetitive marks and rituals, Yoko’s formative processes reinforce ideas that could exist in the unconscious psyche. The ideas are rhythmically sublimated into layered and textural artworks as the artist journeys into the unknown, discovering new possibilities and the self.
