In 2021, Vignesh Sundaresan, also known as Metakovan, made global headlines with his $69.3 million purchase of Beeple’s Everydays: The First 5000 Days, one of the most expensive artworks by a living artist ever auctioned. The sale ignited international debate about the future of art, technology, and value in the digital age.
Four years later, Sundaresan is launching Padimai Art & Tech Studio in Singapore, an experimental art and technology space dedicated to exploring how technology can expand the meaning and reach of art.
Its inaugural exhibition, Your view matter by internationally renowned artist Olafur Eliasson, uses VR and blockchain to record and preserve human perception, a model for how creative data can be stored and shared beyond corporate ecosystems.
