100th Affordable Art Fair

News

The Affordable Art Fair returns this May at the F1 Pit Building. Art lovers, seasoned collectors and first time art novices will be happy with twice the opportunity to seek out the perfect piece of art. With 82 local and international galleries showing more than 600 artists, there is something for everyone to carry home.

The concept to make art accessible is simple yet unique: a diverse selection of contemporary artworks across a variety of styles, from abstract to figurative, and mediums including paintings, sculpture and photography all under one roof, and all for sale between S$100 to S$10,000. 75% of works are under S$7,500. The clear labelling of all artwork ensures people know what they can afford!

Singapore’s new May Edition has the honour of hosting the 100th Global Affordable Art Fair since the Affordable Art Fair brand was launched back in 1999.

For this momentous occasion and for the additional celebration that we will be celebrating Singapore’s 5th Fair, we are hosting a special anniversary feature – the 100th Feature Exhibition. It will showcase the donated works of 100 artists from across the globe and presenting a range of styles, especially selected by our committee panel:

Camilla Hewitson, Fair Director of Affordable Art Singapore
Seah Tzi-Yan, Curator and Art Director
Kenneth Tan, Curator and Gallerist

In celebration of Singapore’s 5th Fair and the 100th edition of a global Affordable Art Fair, all the mini artwork are A5 in size and are affordably priced at $100 each. The works will also have an element of secrecy about them, as information relating to the artist and artwork will only be revealed once an artwork is purchased.

What makes this 100th Feature Exhibition so special is that in essence it reflects our core Affordable Art Fair value; offering everyone the chance to buy a range of artwork styles at affordable prices, by unknown artists and household names.

100% of the sales of the selected works will be donated to our Official Fundraising Partner – The Red Pencil Singapore. So, if you want to help us raise money for a worthy cause as well as celebrate our 100th global Fair and our 5th Singapore edition, just choose your favourite artwork and walk away with an affordable and original work of art for just $100!

23 May Friday; 12pm – 8pm
24 May Saturday; 12pm – 8pm
25 May Sunday; 11am – 6pm
