The seventh edition of the Young Talent Programme (YTP) announced the eight selected artists for 2018/2019. The talented winners will exhibit a curated selection of their winning contemporary artwork at the Affordable Art Fair this November alongside more than 80 galleries, bringing over 600 artists from Singapore, Southeast Asia, and around the world.
Three of these artists will then be chosen to work with Programme Curator, Seah Tzi-Yan over the course of 10 months to further develop their practice. The programme provides the opportunity for winners to present their unique works to an art-loving local and international audience in a solo exhibition at the ION Art gallery in September 2019. This seventh edition of the programme will now also include an added opportunity for the artists to showcase their art works of art at three Hotel Jen locations across Southeast Asia.
