“I am excited to hold Art Trek 13 as we continue to innovate the traditional format of featuring only painters. We added sculptors and toy artists during last year’s roster. Now, we have a photo artist and a cultural outreach to serve as a testament to the rich artistry of Filipinos,” Ambassador Joseph Del Mar Yap said.
Through the years, Art Trek has become the centrepiece of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore’s cultural diplomacy program. It serves as a platform where Filipino artists and Singapore galleries collaborate to further promote Philippine art in the island-state which has become one of the leading art capitals in the world.
