In light of the heightened alert for the Novel Coronavirus situation in Singapore, NUS Centre For the Arts informs that the NUS Arts Festival, scheduled for 13-28 March 2020, will be canceled. In a packed programme of over 30 shows across three weeks, discussions are ongoing to postpone most of the student productions to later part of the year.
“While this is disappointing for all our performers, tutors, and academic partners, we have had to make this difficult decision for the safety of all involved. The students, along with the professional artists, have been working extremely hard in rehearsing for the shows. We certainly hope to be able to present some of the shows in the next semester.” Sharon Tan, Director, NUS Centre For the Arts.
Patrons who have purchased tickets will be refunded through Ticketek (premier.ticketek.com.sg).
