On 3 April, 2015, 2015 Young Revolution, an exhibition of contemporary art by young Korean artists 25-35 years of age, will open in Gallery HUUE’s new exhibition space in Newton.
This project exhibition started in 2014 at ION Art Gallery with the ambition to discover and support Asia’s young artist and encourage exchange of artistic communion between Asian art communities here in Singapore, a newly rising hub of art in South East Asia. The 2014 show showcased works of 19 artists. We hope to continue the success of last year and have selected 13 artists through open call and recommendation, and will show 45 pieces of artworks in Gallery HUUE’s newly opened space. The 13 artists are all Koreans; Kim Dong-Wook, Kim Sun-Ae, Park Noh-Wan, Suh Ji-Sun, Wang Ji-Won, Lee Gwang-Min, Lee Dae-Chul, Lee Mi-Jung, Jeong Seong-Joon, Cho Hae-Young, Chae Hyo-Jin, Hong Young-Joo, Hwang Yeon-Sil. This exhibition will run from April 3 to May 3.
