S Dana, Pink Lotus, 2017, Acrylic on canvas, 100cm x 100cm
Born in 1963, Bali, S. Dana grew up in a world of padi-farming. Naturally, the elements of nature and the cycle of rice planting and harvest have emerged as a central theme in his artworks. Through the application of small incisive coloured strokes, he creates paintings that express the expansive and peaceful nature of his land. His works can be found in public and private collections in Europe, Asia, Indonesia and Singapore.
