
This year, Alliance Française de Singapour is holding its 9th France + Singapore Photographic Arts Awards (FSPAA), a photography competition on the theme ‘Interculturalism’, that features French and Singaporean professionnal artists. The top 10 finalists of the competition will exhibit their works in a group exhibition in la galerie, from 10 January to 9 February 2019. The FINAL WINNER will be invited to do a solo exhibition in la galerie in 2019.
FSPAA Judges:
Lee Chor Lin has played an active role in developing Singapore’s art scene for the past 30 years from leading the redevelopment of the National Museum of Singapore as the Director and being the CEO of Arts Festival Limited, the holding company of SIFA. Presently, she is an independant museum and art consultant.
Marvin Tang, winner of the 8th FSPAA, is a Singaporean artist who uses photography in his investigations. He recently exhibited in 2018 with Enterprise Projects, London; Nooderlicht International Photofestival IN VIVO, Netherlands and Odessa Photo Days, Ukraine.
