Zachary Lim, Autumn's Rhapsody

Pan Pacific Singapore and Polaris De Arts present A Date with Inspiration, a solo art exhibition featuring self-taught local artist Zachary Lim’s 20 scenic oil paintings.

Best known for his three-dimensional and textured paintings, this exhibition is a collection of his artistic efforts to immortalise fleeting sights and sounds into artworks. He has expressed his memories of the sea views and natural landscapes into semi-abstract compelling oil paintings. Many of his paintings of the sea, woods and natural landscapes are akin to actual photographs and enchants at first glance.

A self-taught artist who focuses on using oil as a medium, Zachary has been a photographer for 20 years and an artist throughout his life, honing his eye for shapes and colours. His artistic style is best described as a touch of romanticism with both classical and modern art forms and his artworks are often accompanied by a self-written poem. Zachary’s artworks were well-received regionally and he has also taken part in many online art competitions and received special awards for his artworks.
