Following Paul Klee’s advice of taking ‘a line for a walk’, A Skin Of Paper is an exploration of drawings on paper that centres on the process of constant discovery, instead of the result. It marks the culmination of works since the beginning of Saturday Life Drawing Club (SLDC) in 2018. Set against the backdrop of the paper warehouse in RJ Paper Building, the showcase highlights the relationship and contrast between the humble origins of paper as a medium and its artistic metamorphosis.
