A Thousand Words: Photography in conTEXT

A Thousand Words: Photography in conTEXT is a site-specific exhibition featuring photographic artworks that respond to excerpts from books in the National Library’s collection. Photographers and lens-based artists, both well-known and emerging, were invited to make or choose a photograph in response to a piece of writing they find meaningful. Promoting cross-cultural understanding through literature and art, the exhibition explores the spectrum across which we understand, communicate, and find meaningful connections in our lives.

Venue: library@orchard, 277 Orchard Rd, #03-12 / #04-11 orchardgateway, Singapore 238858

When: 6 - 9 Jan 2023, 11am - 9pm
