Abstract Creatures: Studio SML

Abstract Creatures is an art installation to launch Studio SML, a website and podcast channel by The Press Room that seeks to archive in-depth stories of designers and their journeys.

The Press Room’s creative director and President*s Design Award 2020 Designer of the Year, Kelly Cheng, explains the title Abstract Creatures captures how every design studio is seen as a unique animal, whereby designer/owners find their own way of running their studios – often intuitively and spontaneously – to survive.
