ACT 3 Drama Academy November/December Workshops

Shoo Shoes
For 7 to 17 months, with parents
22, 29 November and 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20 and 22 December (one-session workshop)
10.30am or 4pm (45-minute session)
$40 per child (with parent)
This 45-minute interactive workshop invites parent and child to be the ‘elves’ who work for the Shoemaker through a combination of hands-on activities peppered with music, movement, storytelling and sensory play.

Barefoot
For 18 to 36 months, with parents
Schedule at ACT 3 Drama Academy: 22 and 29 November and 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22 December (one-session workshop)
10.30am, 4pm or 4.30pm (1-hour session)
$50 per child (with parent)
This one-hour highly-interactive workshop will see our Drama Educator telling the story of an elf’s discovery of shoes! It will be an imaginative and sensorial time as parent and child romp around barefoot while following the elves’ adventures.
This session is held in partnership with Kidz Education City located at 681 Punggol Drive, #05-04, Oasis Terraces @ Punggol. Schedule: 22, 24, 29 November; and 6 and 8 December. Parents have the option to sign up for classes here, or at ACT 3 Drama Academy.

Elf Wisdom
For 3 to 4 years old
Schedule at ACT 3 Drama Academy: 19 to 23, 26 to 30 November, 3 to 7, 10 to 14 and 17 to 21 December (five-day workshop)
9.30am or 3.30pm (2-hour session)
$300 per child
In this week-long workshop inspired by the story of The Elves and the Shoemaker, children will learn basic Drama tools such as role playing and group work, as well as the gift of giving.
This session is held in partnership with Kidz Education City located at 681 Punggol Drive, #05-04, Oasis Terraces @ Punggol. Schedule: 19 to 23, 26 to 30 November; and 3 to 7 December. Parents have the option to sign up for classes here, or at ACT 3 Drama Academy.

Rich Man, Poor Man
For 5 to 7 years old

9.30am or 3.30pm (2-hour sessions)
$300 per child
This comic caper with music, movement, choral verses and a moral at the end will ensure your child a fun and entertaining time while telling the story.

The Shoemaker’s Christmas Carol – A Mixed-Up Pantomime
For 8 to 10 years old
19 to 23, 26 to 30 November and 3 to 7, 10 to 14 and 17 to 21 December 2018 (five-day workshop)
9.30am or 2.30pm (3-hour sessions)
$380 per child
Everyone’s favourite miser – Ebenezer Scrooge – is in for an important lesson about giving, sharing and caring this Christmas! In this twisted musical of timeless Christmas carols. The art of pantomime – informally called ‘panto – involves plenty of movement, expression and teamwork.

A Zombie Christmas Carol
For 11 to 15 years old
19 to 23, 26 to 30 November and 3 to 7, 10 to 14 and 17 to 21 December 2018 (five-day workshop)
9.30am or 2.30pm (3-hour sessions)
$380 per child
Older children and teens will have a ball in this light hearted horror comedy as they become zombies who learn the true meaning of Christmas – that humans are friends, not food!
