What do bus stops and lifestyle concept stores and ramen and cows have in common? On the occasion of his solo exhibition at Yeo Workshop, Wong Lip Chin pokes a couple of holes at the porous boundaries of his multi-faceted career in the past decade. From his earliest beginnings as a painter, to his large-scale installation and performance pieces, to his ventures into the retail and food and beverage industries, Wong revisits the contours of his broad-ranging interests in various aspects of creative expression, which are united by a principle he holds dear: that the gap between art and everyday life is a lot narrower than we popularly suppose. The talk features a Q&A session with the exhibition curator Louis Ho.
