Alliance Française de Singapour is delighted to present you a conversation focusing on Zen Teh’s latest series Garden State Palimpsest that began from interviews with previous Kampong Dwellers about their surrounding environments and eventual transition into urban housings. Their stories form alternative narratives of nature, that question Singapore’s neatly packaged branding, the “Garden City” as well as the more recent “City in a Garden” vision. Join us to take a closer look into the art-making process of Garden State Palimpsest, through a multi-layered narrative conversation between Zen Teh and Hera.
