For Singapore Art Week, Studio Lalang welcomes visitors to a showcase of works by studio tenants and participating artists. Featuring works by Yeo Jian Long and Ong Fang Zheng.
Studio Lalang is the working studio of Zen Teh and Hera within the Telok Kurau Studios enclave. The artists conduct a dialogue programme inviting young artists to use our studio space for dialogue and art-making. This initiative explores the use of studio space as both working and display space, as well as exploring notions of permeability in terms of context, disciplines and interaction. The character of the studio as a space for sharing art is distinct from a white cube gallery space–it is not an isolated venue and artists continue to carry out daily creative practices within.
