In this lecture, Fiona Hodgkins will share her research on Bahau, the WW2 Catholic settlement in Malaya. In addition to relating the story of Bahau, she will also discuss her motivation for conducting this research, and the difficulties she encountered. Hodgkins will explain why she felt it was important to make the story accessible not only to adults, but also to children.
