From 16 to 21 March 2023, Beaute Hub – Edupod Junior Art Competition: An Exhibition takes over ION Art gallery, presenting a stunning display of artworks by children aged four to 12 years old. These are finalist works of the Beaute Hub Junior Art Competition that showcase the creativity and talent of the next generation of artists.
Themed My Singapore, Our Future, a total of 45 artworks in different mediums, from Chinese ink to graphite, watercolour to acrylic and oil, celebrate the youthful imagination and artistic expression of the artists’ perspectives of Singapore. Winning works are available for sale, and proceeds from the sale will be donated to The Business Times Budding Artists Fund.
Visitors can also look forward to an exhibition tour led by Gallery1819’s Art Consultant, or participate in family-friendly art-making activities such as bookmark making and colouring session, at the activity corner. For more information on the programme outline, please refer to Annex A.
Works by esteemed judges the like of Cultural Medallion Recipient Senior Artist Ang Ah Tee, UOB Painting of the Year (Singapore) Winners Aaron Gan, Wong Tze Chau and Zhang Chun Lei, as well as watercolourists Alicia Tan and Julie Zhu, are also on display at the exhibition.
This exhibition is open to the public. Shoppers and visitors to ION Orchard can visit ION Art gallery to discover artworks by budding artists and express their creativity.
