Singapore contemporary artist Vincent Leow, who is known for his controversial performances, paintings, installations and pop art influenced sculptures, presents a rare glimpse into his collection of sketchbooks and loose drawings that have never been exhibited before. Apart from revealing the inner thoughts and emotions that Leow recorded over the last three decades of his journey as an artist, the sketchbooks are also placed by him as visual objects in an installation piece. BLANK is an exhibition of every sketchbook that began as a blank page—a fresh, empty working space that enabled the genesis of the artist’s unique works of art.
