Drawing influences from nightclub culture and Japanese rope art, Bunny explores the politics of desire and power dynamics between the rigger (the person doing the tying) and the model (the person who is being tied, a.k.a. the ‘bunny’). This intensely physical performance will tease out the tension, connection, and manipulation between the performers, and between the performers and the audience, bringing a touch of precariousness, even danger, to our encounters in the theatre.
