Can Photography Make A Difference

Opening a dialogue on the use of photography in the world today, professional photographer Edwin Koo shares his perspectives. With his vast experience of using photography as a way to document, he speaks about the multi-layered dynamics and ethical considerations of the documentation process with his works based in Nepal and Pakistan. On the common ground of how documentary photography process and art therapy process both involve a collaborative effort, The Red Pencil shares the perspective of using photography in international art therapy humanitarian missions. Broadening the scope on the use of photography for documentation, it also communicates to a wider audience in continuation of the advocacy work for humanitarian causes.
