Mulan Gallery presents the fifth edition of Ceramic Expressions, a group exhibition series fostering new explorations in ceramic art. In a first for the series, this edition features an all-women selection of artists, including two international guest artists, who are forging their own paths and carving out unique spaces in the field of ceramic art. The exhibition runs from 14 to 23 January 2022 at the Japan Creative Centre (JCC) during the 10th Singapore Art Week and 25 January – 12 February 2022 at Mulan Gallery.
Showcasing a diversity of work done by women artists working in the field of ceramics, this exhibition has as its focus works that go beyond the functional. Featuring recent works by 12 outstanding Asian women ceramicists, including signature pieces by international guest artists Fujino Sachiko and Hoshino Kayoko, this edition of Ceramic Expressions continues in its mission to showcase artists who are shaping the field of contemporary ceramics with their work.
