The Embassy of Mexico is organising an online event to celebrate the Mexican National Day on Tuesday, 15th September 2020. In an effort to make this event special despite the challenging times, the Embassy is collaborating with various partners to present a unique celebration for both its friends in Singapore and the Mexican community to enjoy.
The official ceremony of the event will take place at the grand Capitol Theatre of The Capitol Kempinski Hotel, and will be streamed on the Embassy’s social media platforms on the 15th of September at 8 pm.
The Embassy has invited one of the most internationally celebrated Mexican jazz singers, Magos Herrera, to perform three songs dedicated to Singapore, from a terrace in the beautiful city of San Miguel de Allende, México.
The Embassy is also collaborating with eight of the best representatives of Mexican gastronomy in Singapore, who will be offering promotional menus at special rates from 15th to 30th September 2020. To further complement the celebration on the 15th of September, these menus will be available for home delivery, so that people tuning in to the event can enjoy Mexican dishes from the comfort of their homes, in compliance with the current social distancing and health measures.
