Organised by the Hwi Yoh Group under Sam Mui Kuang Pottery, Ceramix 2016 is a ceramic exhibition featuring the works of 21 artists from various backgrounds. Although the exhibitors and artists differ in occupations, styles, interests, expertise and experience, this has produced a great variety of work which celebrates diversity and a common love for ceramic art.
The Hwi Yoh Group was named after the famous Dragon Kiln operated by the Chua family that was once located at Jalan Hwi Yoh. While the historic kiln had since been demolished, the group continues to operate and flourish at its current premise at Jalan Kelulut in Seletar Hill Estate today.
