Chase down some fun this June during our annual Children’s Season! From 28 May to 26 June 2016, bring your young ones and the young-at-heart on a trip to discover heritage, art, culture, and science, as well as other everyday aspects of life in Singapore. With dedicated children’s exhibitions and interactive activities to delight and enlighten, including Masak Masak at the National Museum of Singapore, Once Upon a Time in Asia: The Missing Mouse at the Asian Civilisations Museum, and Shaking It With Shakespeare at the Singapore Philatelic Museum, we promise a fun time for all! Children’s Season at the National Museum of Singapore returns with another fun-filled festival to celebrate the joys of being a child! Join us at Masak Masak 2016 as we embark on another journey with Baby Block to make a new friend. Immerse yourselves in a colourful world of interactive installations, activities and workshops that are specially curated for the whole family. The activities are suitable for children aged three to seven, so treat your young ones to a fun day out at the museum!
- Once Upon A Time in Asia: The Missing Mouse
Venue: Asian Civilisations Museum
Date: 28 May to 11 September 2016
Time: 10am to 5pm

Recommended for children ages 7 to 12, and for the young at heart
Are you ready to search for the missing mouse? Experience a story about friendship and adventure in the museum as you join Ganesha on his hunt for his best friend, Mr Mouse! Explore meandering mazes, paths and passages, to track him down. Create your own adventure in the museum. This exhibition is based on the Asian Civilisations Museums’ first children’s book, The Missing Mouse. Through hands-on activities, workshops, programmes, and tours, you can learn more about animals – both real and mythical – in Asian art. Have an enjoyable with the whole family at this exhibition for both children and the young at heart.

Come join us for the Balloon Bonanza at the Heritage Institutions this Children’s Season with your little ones! Explore creative and unique balloon sculptures created by well-known local balloon artist, Lily Tan, inspired by artefacts in the three Heritage Institutions.
