This year, we shine the spotlight on professions and disciplines featured in the museum’s collection. Head down to our Open House on 25 & 26 May at the Indian Heritage Centre to experience captivating musical performances, Indian martial arts demonstrations and participate in craft activities, for free! You can also indulge in our traditional Indian dessert giveaway, master combat moves with Kalaripayattu practitioners and even learn captivating rhythms and beats of the tabla and mridangam in our hands-on workshops. Not only that, but you will also be given the rare opportunity to explore behind-the-scenes in the museum and discover the artistry of Indian textiles as you design your own virtual outfit.
