This talk introduces various collectors who have contributed to the renowned Asian collection at the British Museum. Since its founding in 1753, the British Museum has collected and displayed works from across Asia, both old and new. Present-day collectors of contemporary works continue to contribute to the collection, helping the museum to realise its mission to collect, research and display the various cultures from around the world.
