STPI – Creative Workshop & Gallery presents a showcase of new releases from Yanyun Chen, Hong Zhu An and Prabhavathi Meppayil, created during each artist’s residency between 2019 to 2022.
The collection of works reflects on each artists’ residency as a point of divergence from their usual practices, as they embark on a new journey of conceptual and material explorations in the mediums of print and paper.
Their artistic collaboration produced a space for possibilities and experimentations, given that the artists are made to work with materials, techniques and collaborators that they are foreign to. The end results of their projects are presented in this show, demonstrating the artistic innovations that happen during the fertile period of an STPI residency.
