“Destined Encounter” is a solo exhibition by Taiwanese artist Lu I Pin (盧逸斌), featuring over twenty of his oil painting works which explore the ideals of Abstract Expressionism.
In this exhibition, Lu shares his beliefs in simplicity, beauty and faith in his creative pursuits and invites visitors to contemplate the philosophy and significance of art in their everyday lives.
About the Artist
Born in Yilan, Taiwan in 1953, Lu I Pin (盧逸斌) graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, National Taiwan Normal University in 1982. A member of the prestigious National Oil Painting Association, Lu held frequent art exhibitions at famed galleries in Taiwan.
He is currently engaged in painting and art criticism, appraisal, connoisseurship, and collection.
