This exhibition presents works by Diploma in Fine Arts students selected from two studio projects in semester 1. The first project—Semiotics: Text and Image—explored relationships between text, imagery, sound, gesture and movement. The works were made during workshops and collaborations involving LASALLE’s Schools of Dance & Theatre, Fashion, Design Communication, and Film & Animation. The second project—Assemblage: Fiction and Reality—focused on narratives and everyday experiences as starting points for creating new visual content. The exhibited works show various degrees of harmony and tension, as well as the manipulation and transformation of materials.
