A collaboration of young artists from LASALLE, NAFA and NTU, “Do You Believe In Unicorns?” is an exploration of belief systems that could have been cultivated in our childhood or developmental years, and the impact that the belief systems had on them.
Organised by Crea and Prinsep Street Presbyterian Church (PSPC) from Sunday, 20 March to Thursday, 24 March 2016, the art exhibition will showcase installations by students from the three tertiary institutions, ranging from paintings, installations, embroidery to photography.
Namiko Chan, who leads the Singapore branch of Halau Ka Lei Kukui Hi’ilani (Kaua’i, Hawaii) will also be staging a live performance of Hawaiian Hula. Namiko was also winner of the Grand Prize in the UOB Painting of the Year Award 2006.
