The organisers of Emergence Creative Festival and the tourism bodies of Margaret River, Australia are inviting Singapore-based content creators to an Open Call that could take them to the country’s South West to capture the rugged beauty of the famous wine region in late March.
The competition is open to content creators who are Singapore nationals or foreign talents based in Singapore. They can be a painter, photographer, musician, muralist, podcaster or vlogger (to name a few).
Four talents will be selected to travel to Margaret River for a 4 day/3 night immersive experience, participate in the Creative Emergence Festival, and create a piece of work inspired by Margaret River region’s stunning coastline, award-winning vineyards and verdant landscape.
The festival’s co-directors will be in Singapore on 16 January for a Festival evening from 7-9 pm at the Heckler Singapore office. Content creators who have registered for the Open Call are required to attend.
Brianna Delaporte, the festival co-director, said: “We are excited to bring a bit of Margaret River to our Festival Evening in Singapore this January. Winners of the Open Call will get to see first-hand why Margaret River was named the number one destination in Asia Pacific by Lonely Planet. We cannot wait to see their works come to life in Margaret River!”
Applicants will meet a selection panel (maximum 15 minutes per applicant) on Friday, 17 January. Applicants will be informed of their time slots by Monday 13, January.
Winners will be announced in early February (Details to come).
