
Dementia is a stark global health issue that needs to be addressed immediately world-wide. “The Enabling Festival” (5-7 October 2018) seeks to showcase potentialities that focus on the enablement of people living with dementia so as to provides them a better quality and dignified life.
This three day community festival is a kaleidoscope of multi-disciplinary activities in the areas of visual art, music, design, theatre, film, dance, photography, medical forums, early-detection assessment, hands-on workshops, a simulation walk through the Enabling Room and a Design-athon for dementia friendly products that are Asian-centric. The festival is a consolidation of comprehensive and credible support from Medical, Science Caregive, Mental wellness and Arts sector, all under one roof to raise awareness and address this impending health issue.
