German premium technical camera brand, Leica Camera Asia Pacific, will be presenting the debut of “Ethiopia” by Rosalynn Tay at the Leica Galerie Singapore located at the Raffles Hotel Arcade where a total of 18 splendid prints will be on display from 26 May till 11 July 2016. Tay will also be launching her first pictorial book titled, “Ethiopia”, with proceeds from her book going towards fund raising efforts for Food From The Heart, a non-profit food distribution programme.
Inspired by her travel to Africa in 2014, Tay has decided to put together and showcase her images of the ancient and historical Ethiopia captured by her beloved Leica camera. The juxtaposition of Ethiopia’s rugged landlocked environment and the seemingly easy going nature of it‘s inhabitants inspired Tay to produce the wonderous and personal images that will be on display come 26 May 2016.
