As a creative practice, the field of design exists as a platform to critique our environments. Apart from addressing functional immediacies, design serves as an agent for change, proposing new alternatives to the status quo.
This exhibition celebrates the innovative role of design in exacting change. It presents designs by students from the Faculty of Design that demonstrate high levels of conceptual thought, precision and skill. Many of the works address pertinent issues of our time—questions of ethics, the environment, sustainability—and questions of the future.
Change is now. Design is NOW!
