Specially curated for audiences, French Connection is a compilation of five artistically revolutionary works in a single night. Opening the evening is Meditation by Artistic Director Janek Schergen, a work commissioned for the Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) 2021. The evening continues with excerpts from two classical ballets, Sleeping Beauty pas de deux by Marius Petipa, and Don Quixote pas de deux by Rudolf Nureyev. Also in the programme is an intimate work by renowned choreographer Natalie Weir, Bittersweet. To close the evening is a work specially created for SDT titled Singular, choreographed by SDT’s Principal Dancer, Etienne Ferrère.
