In commemoration of his 85th birthday, local contemporary artist and Cultural Medallion recipient Goh Beng Kwan will hold a solo exhibition from May 20 to 29.
This is the first time a local artist is exhibiting on a whole floor in a hotel – attendees can expect to view his artworks in physical form, as well as in the form of Augmented Reality, where art pieces come to life only through mobile devices.
The exhibition will take you on a journey through time, where attendees will be able to see Mr Goh’s wide spectrum of art, and his journey throughout 60 years of being a Singapore/US-trained artist who has travelled extensively throughout the world, but counts Singapore as home.
Venue: Conrad Centennial Singapore, 2 Temasek Boulevard, Level 6, Singapore 038982
Admission: Tickets $13.65, free for children below seven years old, available HERE
Booking slots are available every two hours from 11am. Each two-hour session will accommodate up to 35 persons, for a total of 1700 guests throughout the exhibition. Docent tours last an hour (guests are encouraged to stay on for the remaining hour to look at the artwork themselves), and are limited to 6 persons per session.
