Join this guided walk in the Bras Basah-Bugis area. Our guides – comprising creative practitioners and image-making enthusiasts – will point you to the visual markers that bring life and give character to the streets in this pocket of Singapore. They will take you on a walk, starting from the National Design Centre (NDC), to identify the design markers on Queen Street, Bras Basah Road, Waterloo Street and Middle Road; and explain how objects, buildings and public spaces influence the process of design that makes up the colourful milieu of this district.
The guides are Justin Zhuang (In Plain Words), Fabian Lua (Architecture Walks Singapore), Vikas Kailankaje (STUDIO VBK), Medha Lim (Jalan Medha), Yafiq Yusman (Instagrammer:@_yafiqyusman_), and Ben Lau (Instagrammer: @lkkben).
