This family-friendly event is organised by Nuwa in partnership with UWCSEA, and aims to raise awareness around youth mental health and how the arts can support young people and their families.
A full morning of talks, workshops, and drop-in art and wellness sessions.
HeART of the Matter encourages parents and young people to talk openly about mental health, and to discover some of the support services the school, health and arts sectors offer to young people.
The event also welcomes professionals working in arts and culture, mental health, and education, to connect with others – getting to the HeART of the Matter of Youth Mental Health.
Canvass Life, Hanna Krasnodebska Classical Musician, Hush, Limitless, Lion’s Pride, Pangdemonium Theatre, PlayActing, REACH Youth Services, The Red Pencil, Thrive Family, UWC staff members, and student organised dance workshop and poetry readings.
