Built around 1895, the NUS Baba House at 157 Neil Road is a townhouse located in Singapore’s historic district of Blair Plain. Once the ancestral home of a Peranakan Chinese family, it is now conceived as a heritage house facilitating research, appreciation and reflection of the Straits Chinese history and culture.
During the hour-long heritage tour, guests will be introduced to the history and architectural features of the House, and experience visiting a Straits Chinese family home with a 1920s setting furnished with heirlooms from the Wee family (the previous owners of the house) and other donors.
