
Mireya Marsan Art Gallery presents artworks by 4 Hispanic artists: Cristina Arada, Melanie Boly, Patricia Taboas, and Alejandra Ferguson.
Cristina Arada was born in Leon, (Spain). She works with various media, oil, acrylics, charcoal, and others. She is extremely skilled mixing different styles and uses abstract, modern and traditional formats and techniques. In this exhibition, Cristina shows a clear influence from her life’s experiences on her journey through Asia.
Argentinian artist Melanie Boly lived in Gothenburg, Sweden before moving to Singapore. She has discovered her passion for art as a personal therapy. She works with acrylic and oil on canvas. This is her 3rd exhibition in Singapore. She says
“Buenos Aires, gave me the nest
Gothemburg, gave me wings
Singapore makes me fly”
Alejandra Ferguson was born in Chile. In 2011 she moved to Singapore, where she began studying art at ArtHaus, Antonija Gros Fine Art Studio and NAFA. Alejandra currently enjoys painting portraits, figurative abstract and is experimenting with different media. Her inspiration mostly comes from nostalgic memories of her beloved Chile, her family and her dreams.
Patricia Táboas was born in Galicia (Spain), where she lived in her childhood and part of her adult life. She lived in different countries for the last ten years, which has enriched her culturally, personally and artistically. Acrylics and oils are the materials she uses in her artwork.
