IKEA Singapore’s Young Designer Award is now open for tertiary school students in Singapore and will close on 10 June 2019, 23:59 hours. Students can submit their ideas at ikea.sg/yda.

The theme for 2019 is “Zero Waste Challenge” and participants need to design a product OR service that will inspire or support change behaviour, encouraging the public to reduce waste at home and as a community.

Top 20 teams will be invited to the 18 hours Design Jam on 30 June – 1 July 2019 to develop and pitch their idea to our judges and have a shot at becoming IKEA Singapore’s Young Designer 2019.

The top-prize winner will be awarded a $1,500 cash prize and a trip to IKEA Sweden headquarters.
