Immersion (浸濡) is an exhibition that will showcase 25 pieces of exciting art work produced by Singaporean ink painter Anthony Chua Say Hua, with subjects ranging from figurative abstraction, cubism to his well-known old shop houses.
His works are the result of an experimental process which he engages with the theme of ‘Immersion’, where the finished works can be viewed as an extension of self in relation to the external world, creating oneness and unity of spirit. In this exhibition, Anthony will also display several rarely seen large format ink works.
Organised by Chryse Gallery of Fine Art, the Gallery has held several exhibitions by Vietnamese, Myanmar and Singaporean artists at ION gallery over the past few years. It has also participated in local and overseas art fairs.
