The group exhibition presents paintings by artists who immigrated from USSR: Mark Braver, Michael Shabrin, Maya Green, Elena Langer, Michael Milkin, Elena Kotlyarker, and Anatoly Metlan.
With ever changing environment and moving from country which doesn’t exist anymore those artists’ homeland exist only in their dreams, their life is like peace out of chaos. The exhibition will show the diversity of visions of painters who developed their skill despite the difficulties of life in immigration.
Every artist of this exhibition demonstrates a certain consistency, progress, technical skill and critical thinking in their work aiming to continuously surprise and captivate our audience. Join us in supporting their vision.
In the art exhibition you will see the story of art, identity and migration and an art collection of 11 artworks that needs a new home.
