UuDam Tran Nguyen, Shadow Puller, Gold plated bronze, 52 x 6 x 25 cm

Vietnamese contemporary artist UuDam Tran Nguyen is known for pushing the limits of his exploration in various mediums, discussing relevant issues in the current world. As his first solo exhibition in Singapore, UuDam’s playful and provocative sculpture and paintings convey the unconventional interpretation of socio-economic issues, focusing on behaviour towards consumerism. This exhibition is in conjunction with his appointment as the 2023 Southeast Asian Arts Virtual residency at NAFA, supported by UOB.
